-puts on wind breaker black ring, and crimson ring cause it's cooler that way. Then puts on Wring. starts jumping up and down really fast

Garment Grid Menace of the Deep (absorb water), Black Ring (immune to Dark), Crimson Ring (absorb fire and cast Firaga), and Wring (improves magic, hastes you and also make you poisoned) are from FFX-2.
The air magic and Wind Breaker are from FFXII.
understand?
-is still jumping up and down cause of Wring, and is periodically twitching from poison

Wait, FFX-2 was a game?
I have convinced myself that that "game" never happened. It keeps my sanity intact.
But, in all seriousness FFX-2 was the worst FF game to ever be made and was why Hironobu Sakaguchi left Square Enix.

As quoted on the topic of why Pokemon is so popular despite being the same game for 15 years.
"Because it's Pokemon. It's drugs for the brain. It's porn for the eyes. It's a conglomeration all your hopes and dreams, sprinkled with unimaginable wonder. A game such as this has no need for superfluous additions or changes. It continues, and will continue, to entrance delight fans of all ages.

That's why." - DragonAura1010-Gamefaqs
