Who Makes a better Vampire?

Who do you think is the best? and Why?

I like Selene. She's hot, sexy, sees lycans for real live beings and not slaves, can now walk fully in the sunlight, has killed Victor, and doesn't walk around with a powdered wig like Dracula in one of those old movies. Also, she's not a pussy, like those vamps from Twilight.

I voted for Selene, that actress is gorgeous, but I have one thing to say. I wish everyone would lay off the Twilight vampire thing. Despite your opinion on their "pansiness" Stephenie Meyer is an amazing writer who just wanted her own interpretation of the vampire written instead of just piggy-backing on others' theories or legends. I find that admirable and I happen to think that sparkles are pretty!

Anyway, I do love Selene from Underworld, but I do love Dracula from Van Helsing. I am not too big of a fan on the way Stephenie Meyer depicted vampires. They are kind of flimsy and, well I guess it's the whole "we're a bunch of teenagers" thing that bothers me the most. When I think vampire, my mind jumps to Bram Stroker's Dracula or Anne Rice's. I love the way they showed vampires being demonic, but sensual. They portrayed the darkness, but a light, all in the same combination. Blade, on the other hand, is just a baaaaad mother...trucker? LOL. He definitely portrayed more of a "I hate what I am, hate what you are" thing.

true, true. I don't know, what Stephenie Meyer did to both werewolves and vampires made them seem, I don't know... weak. But I love Blade, he macho.

Oh yeah, I (me and a friend) came up with something no one has thought of before. Did you ever think that the vampires actually come from spiders or mosquitoes? It would make sense, they are both bloodsuckers. Just imagine a big spider or mosquito with Edward Cullen's face and don't tell me that it doesn't fit. I mean, if it was his face paired up with a banana spider, it would work uber well!

I voted Blade. He gets stuff done. With lots of blood, the way it was meant to be. I also would have voted for Karin from Chibi Vampire, who is totally the opposite. But there's still blood. Blood is requisite.
